The medieval garden of the monastery is the culmination of a project to recover a medieval garden made by a multidisciplinary team that presents native and local pre-Columbian plant species, cultivated with organic agriculture.

Inside the monastery’s old infirmary, time stands still by observing the basic construction and the lack of decoration of the community’s container furniture where utility and functionality prevail above else.

The exhibition “The Monastery of Pedralbes. The Monastery Treasures” presents a unique collection of works of art, furniture, and secular and liturgical objects from the monastery treasure, built up, conserved and restored over the centuries by the Poor Clare community.

The exhibition “Plants, Remedies and Apothecaries”explores a science that developed out of the basic principles of Greek and Roman medicine and the contributions of Arab-Islamic culture, using nature as the basis of its action.
