As for the visit, the chapel of Sant Miquel must have it's doors closed at all times, and it's maximum capacity 5 people. The Chapter House is currently being restored and is closed to the visit. Thank you for your understanding.

Families

The Royal Monastery of St Mary of Pedralbes welcomes the family public. Families who visit the monastery will find a heritage site packed with history, which bears witness to the daily life of the female community of Poor Clares over almost seven centuries. In Pedralbes, you will find the following: Europe’s largest Gothic cloister; St Michael’s Chapel, with its Gothic paintings preserved almost intact; the church, which preserves much of its medieval stained glass; the tomb of the founder of the monastery, Elisenda de Moncada; and the community’s rich art treasure.

To make the building more family-friendly, the Monastery of Pedralbes offers a family audio guide and support materials for the self-guided tour, and also a series of activities aimed specifically at families.
